The only thing that was challenging was getting to the hotel since the Uber couldn't take us straight to it and we had to walk down a big hill and weren't entirely sure where we were going. Otherwise everything else at this hotel was wonderful! The breakfast was amazing the room was great, everything was really beautiful. It was a great stay! I loved it - it really embraced the colonial feel!

Unique historic property convenient for walking around the old quarter of Quito including the Independence Square and San Francisco Plaza. Note, traffic is frequently backed up in this area's narrow streets and your Uber or taxi may take awhile on the last three blocks. Spacious rooms, traditionally furnished, with modern bathrooms and excellent wifi service. Comfortable bed. All rooms face an inner roofed courtyard and have no exterior windows. My room also had an unusual glassed-in air shaft containing a very large potted plant. Restaurant had good service and well-prepared traditional dishes. The breakfast buffet had a wide array of hot and cold choices. An excellent value overall.
