The quietness and the evening sky were beyond incredible. We saw lots of shooting stars and the milky way was over us and we could see it with our naked eye. Also the sunrise and sunset are beautiful. The views of mountains in front and behind the house are spectacular. The property was very well stocked. I would highly recommend staying here if you are going to visit Death Valley but you need to be aware that you are in a very remote location. GPS on our phones worked very well. Misty and Marcus have set up a perfect spot for a family to enjoy the Nevada side of DVNP. No detail was spared and everything was extremely intuitive. The kitchen is perfectly stocked with a nice fridge, pantry staples, and a filtered water tap. After we all had our fill of walking out to the Funeral Mountains, my niece and nephew loved all the games, books, and the Pac-Man machine. The only surprise we had was that the house is on a shared property with two other dwellings that all share a drive/parking area. Outside of that— there’s no one near you for acres.
