We loved the layout of the house with plenty of room for our family to spread out and have our own space as well as plenty of space to make memories. I particularly enjoyed the patio. The kids enjoyed playing on the lawn. We were close enough to the river for a float trip and the lake for a couple of hours of fun after a day of rain. The kitchen has plenty of plates, which is a plus as some cabins I have rented are sparse, but there was not a mixer for mashed potatoes. The dining room table sat 6 and we couldn't find the leaves. The owner said there wasn't one, but my brother said he thought he saw one under a bed, so who knows, lol. The laundry room was huge, big enough to put our dogs kennel in. The internet was almost obsolete, which was fine for us. They had 2 hummingbird feeders and I did see a couple of hummingbirds, but the feeders need cleaned. The downstairs shower was a little stopped up as the water came out in a little stream. I would definitely stay there again. Piedmont is not too far for groceries and there is a mom and pop diner that was yummy, Zephyrs. Beautiful area and very relaxing. ##### Stacey M. Such a gorgeous, peaceful location, and the house had everything we needed. We loved our evenings by the fire pit. We would love to come back again and stay longer. If you're a Verizon customer, learn from my mistake and make a note of your check-in information before you get there rather than waiting until you arrive to it up; Verizon coverage is mostly non-existent in the area.
