Had an awful stay. I dont recomend it to anybody.
We had a really bad visit at this hotel. The bathroom smelled sewer, but we didn’t wanna complain since we though this is what one get when booking a hotel with this low standard in general. The next day, we couldn’t stand it any longer, so I kindly asked the guy working in the reception for help. He was extremely rude telling me this is the first time guests complains about the smell in this bathroom. I kindly asked him to follow me so he could smell it himself. Everything was fine according to him. He was obviously LYING or maybe he is used to such nasty scents... Anyway, he made a scene in front of other guests telling me he cannot do anything. I told him I won’t accept this, I’m the guest. He replied he doesn’t care about the guests. Guests complains about everything, he said. I was so shocked. I have never ever been treated like that. NEVER! He kept arguing in front of other guests, so I asked to speak to his manager. He told me he was the manager… I later found out he was lying. Anyway, after mentioning hotels.com he told me he will look for another room later on. But he clarified that this is the last time we can complain about anything again. I’m still very upset when thinking about this. Who do you think you are to be talking to me like that, Mr. M? This guy should definitely not work within the service profession…
I met three guys working in the reception, the only one that was nice and service-minded was Armand. Thank you so much Armand.
