The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is less than a 10-minute walk from the train station and about a 30-minute walk from the main attractions. Overall, Hotel Berna was excellent in terms of location, service, and convenience. We had a great stay and would definitely recommend it.

We arrived very early and had some specific challenges with our travel. The staff went out of their way to help us. The room was very nice and had ample room. We had to leave before the scheduled breakfast, but they provided a bagged breakfast for us. Location was close to the train station and walking distance to major sites. Lots of good food choices nearby.

I love how close this hotel is to the train station. EXCELLENT customer service. I always fly to Milan whenever I visit Europe from the US. This hotel made it so EASY for me to hop in and out countries. The best part about this hotel ... They give you free sodas as well. Not just a bottle water. 🙏

Location of the hotel was exceptional, a 5 minute walk to the Milan Central train station. The main sites, the cathedral, the Galleria were on a short cab right away. The staff was very helpful. They stored our luggage until our room was ready. And they had complimentary fresh coffee and croissants when we arrived, about 11 AM. The check-in was smooth and courteous. we ate dinner at a restaurant right across the street, which was excellent We’re glad that we chose this hotel.

The entire interaction was pleasant! Staff at the front desk were professional and kindly helpful and the breakfast staff were also kind and helpful. I am grateful for the assistance and the fact that most everyone spoke excellent English to lessen my concerns on my limited Italian. Location was also very good near the Metro snd Central Train Station. I definitely recommend this property, especially for solo women travelers.

I was very pleasantly surprised with this hotel. Although it keeps an air of an old grand dame of the 1950s (decor), it has very contemporary touches (A/C, ceiling fan, complimentary bathrobes and slippers, kettle) and is very clean. The breakfast is generous and varied. The staff are all multilingual, very kind and helpful. Finally, the hotel is conveniently located just a block and a half from Milano Centrale train station. I completely recommend it.

Well located with just a few mins walk from Milan Centrale Train station. Lots of places to eat nearby. The staff are very helpful. The breakfast menu spread was quite good with some changes made each day. However the Property is a bit dated with narrow lifts. Stayed 5 nights for a family of 3. Would recommend .

Traditional and personal, I felt the staff were wonderful. It has an art deco/retro vibe in a perfect location near train, subway, grocery, and laundry. If I could change one thing, it would be to have a larger shower. The door opening is a typical European size, roughly a 12” - 13” opening. Tapas available every evening was a great touch.
