As a traveler that booked a 5 start hotel, I am quite upset at the inaccuracy of this rating. The hotel is “nice”, but the quality is of a 3.5 star hotel (at most). There is minimal to no WiFi. The trade-off for this is that there is a 10 minute walk down the hill to the town, which is pleasant enough - but not so pleasant making the return journey - the 8-10 euros for a taxi is a no-brainer! We had a couple of small issues with the villa which were dealt with immediately by the staff with no fuss. "Staying at the Thetis was a joy. Good communication with Elena who welcomed us and kept in contact with WhatsApp. The housekeeping was superb by our brilliant housekeeper Bruna. We will definitely be back. The restaurants nearby are also very good and the beach is a short walk away. Very friendly place "

"Room adequate for the price, but air con not great and bed soft and uncomfortable. Staff were very nice, esp Ruth on front desk, breakfast great and available until 10:30 with full spread. Pools excellent and only a short walk to the lovely beach and bars/restaurants"

"We had a nice stay at this hotel. It’s close to everything. It has a lot of parking places. The breakfast was so good and fresh. Staff are super helpful as well. We will definitely come back to this hotel."

"We paid an extra fee to have a private pool, we soon realised there was a cctv camera in our pool area, myself and my boyfriend went in the pool and got a phone call to tell us to get out. When we tried to call them back, the staff cut the phone lines off. I have video evidence of the camera and my conversation with the staff with regards to breech of privacy.
