Really like the Edgewater when I stay in Whitehorse. The rooms are great and so is the staff. The Belly of the Bison is also wonderful. The central location downtown makes so many things just a quick walk away. I would give them 5 stars except the parking situation is very poor. Their 'parking lot' accommodates about 6 cars and almost impossible to get a truck in there as it also houses the dumpster. I had to park on the street both times I stayed. First time someone entered my vehicle and ransacked the glove boxes and contents of the truck. Parked right in front of the hotel!! It appeared nothing was taken. Fortunately that was a Sunday so didn't have to worry about the parking meter. Next time was a Saturday and I did not go out before 8am to stuff the meter and promptly got a $40 parking ticket from the City of Whitehorse. Just know if you plan on staying that parking is a challenge and if you park in a metered spot, pretty much everywhere is private or metered, they will give you a ticket Monday through Saturday. If you park in a private spot there is a high probability you will get towed or so I am told. Still love the Edgewater though!

The room was very clean and spacious. The beds were very comfortable. The front desk staff were awesome. So helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend this hotel
