Cinéma de Middlesbrough

Second stay here, this time in one of their Deluxe rooms. It was a beautiful room, clean, and very spacious with probably the biggest bathroom I've ever seen in a hotel room. Unfortunately, the plug in the sink did not open so the water couldn't drain. We let housekeeping know and were told that the maintenance team would be informed but nobody came to fix it before we left. Monday morning, we went downstairs for breakfast at 9.28am only to be informed that hot breakfast was no longer available as breakfast time stops at 9.30am (which is a bit strange, most other places seem to offer food until 10am in the morning at least). So we went to a nearby farmshop cafe instead. As with our first stay, the WiFi password did not work. Staff were friendly but upon checking out (I still had to pay for breakfast on our second morning), there was nobody at reception. I pressed the buzzer twice, to no avail. So I had to go and actively look for someone to settle my bill. I went into the adjacent pub / bar and had to call out for someone several times. The young woman was hoovering and I think with headphones in so she didn't hear me straightaway. It would have been easy to just walk out without paying but I'm not THAT person. Overall, we were happy with our stay, minus the things mentioned.
