The living room features a comfy sofa, matching armchair, and a large Smart TV to stream your favourite apps and watch TV shows. The dining room is full of character with a traditional feel created by a solid wood dining table and chair set. This lovely space opens into an outdoor area with outdoor furniture, perfect for relaxing, sunbathing and dining during your stay. The Neighborhood: The pretty village of Great Ayton is perched on the banks of the River Leven. The village has ancient origins, with several Neolithic sites within the parish boundary. The village is mentioned in the Domesday Book. In former times, the village’s industries included linen making, tanning, brewing and mining. Nowadays, the village is well known for its two picturesque village greens, Captain Cook Schoolroom Museum and proximity to the intriguing volcano-esque Roseberry Topping.
