The perfect starting place to discover Fyn and Jylland, or just to discover the beautiful Lillebælt, which is just a short walk away. Clean, spaceious rooms and a beautiful garden. Dogs, cats, chickens, doves and a peacock make this little paradise perfect. Even though it's just a hop from the motorway, it's quiet and gives you a "right within nature" feeling. There is a common area with a kitchen you can use to cook/heat yourself food and store it in a fridge. There's a small table with two chairs outside each room, so you can sit outside and enjoy the gardens. Parking is not an issue. The owners were very friendly and helpful. We had an amazing stay. Tak for ugen!

The B&B is located close to the freeway and the bridge connecting island Fyn (Odense) to mainland Denmark. It has very nice grounds, but only half of the rooms are as described, with a covered patio and a view. We were unlucky enough to get one of the other rooms, recently renovated, quite basic but very clean and practicality oriented: bare walls, the bed, a small open wardrobe, a little table and two chairs, a tiny sink in the bathroom, and another small table with chairs exposed to the elements in front of the room, with a huge pile of firewood blocking the view. Sound insulation is poor; one can hear the people next door and the street/freeway noise. The excellent WiFi and the breakfast room with a fridge, free coffee and some cold beverages for purchase were a great plus. The place has a lot of potential, but only the rooms with the view are worth the money.

Jeg og min kone ankom stedet i bil omtrent klokken 22. Vi parkerte og jeg gikk ut av bilen. En person kom ut av en av bygningene. Jeg var usikkert på om dette var riktig person å henvende seg til, eller en annen gjest, så jeg spurte ham om han var eieren av stedet. Fra det øyeblikket ble jeg under hele innsjekkingen snakket svært aggressivt og nedlatende til, belært i hvordan jeg burde ha introdusert meg, kalt "kanskje ikke den smarteste" og fortalt at jeg hadde en veldig merkelig oppførsel. Det hele foregikk på engelsk, selv om jeg startet samtalen på norsk og forstår dansk uten problemer (min far var dansk). Jeg forholdt meg rolig under hele angrepet, beklaget om jeg hadde sagt noe feil, forsikret ham om at det aldri var meningen å være respektløs og tilbød å starte på nytt ved å hilse ordentlig, noe han avviste og sa at han ikke var interessert i. Hadde jeg hatt noe alternativ, hadde jeg reist derfra og funnet et annet sted å sove for natten. Da han gikk, var jeg ganske skjelven og urolig i hele kroppen, og det tok noen timer før jeg ble rolig nok til å få sove. Jeg ventet med å fortelle min kone om hendelsen til neste dag (hun hadde ventet i bilen mens jeg ble utsatt for dette), for at hun skulle få en god natts søvn. Jeg/vi har grublet en del på hvorfor jeg ble behandlet som jeg gjorde, og har noen teorier, men uansett hva forklaringen er, er det ingenting som kan forsvare det å behandle en gjest på den måten.

Heerlijke accomodatie met een prachtige tuin waar je heerlijk kan verblijven. Veel ruimte, zon en schaduw en voldoende zitmogelijkheid inclusief lekkere stoelen. Ook met minder goed weer heb je veel mogelijkheden in plaats van op je kamer zitten. De dieren (alpaca's, honden, pauwen en kippen) zijn een leuke extra. De locatie is goed, makkelijk te bereiken en vlakbij Middelfart. De kamer is schoon, ruim, met een goede badkamer en lekkere bedden. Zeer aan te raden.

De locatie, het terrein, de tuin: het was een pure verrassing! Wie verwacht een welkom door een pronkende pauw?! De eigenaar was niet aanwezig bij onze aankomst, het was daarom even zoeken naar de code van het sleutelkastje. Maar toen we die eenmaal hadden: Een prima kamer, een uitstekend bed en een goed ontbijt. Een aanrader!!
