Escape with family or friends near the dunes of Lake Michigan! This is an upstairs 1bed/1bath unit! Guests will love being able to walk to the beach, outlet mall, zoo, restaurants and shops. Minutes drive to hiking trails in the nation's newest national park, casino, wineries, boat rentals, splash pad and park. This is the perfect little getaway for up to 4 people who want to relax or adventure!



The Space:

**Welcome to your home away from home in Michigan City!**

Step into this comfortable and well-equipped second-floor apartment, one of the one-bedroom units in the building. Designed for relaxation, the living room offers cozy seating and a smart TV for your entertainment. The spacious kitchen is fully functional, featuring a full-size fridge, gas stove, and dishwasher. Everything you need for cooking is provided—pots, pans, utensils, dishes, forks, spoons, knives, and more—just bring your groceries!

**Unit Perks:**

- The living room includes a sofa bed, allowing the apartment to comfortably accommodate up to 4 guests.

- The kitchen is fully stocked with a fridge/freezer, sink, stove, oven, microwave, toaster, blender, and coffee maker. We also provide essential items like plates, cups, cookware, utensils, and paper towels.

- Enjoy coffee, creamer, and sweetener, which are provided for your convenience.

- Cooking essentials such as cooking spray, olive oil, and salt/pepper are available.

- A hair dryer, showering essentials, and bath towels are provided. Each bedroom comes with dresser storage.

- An iron and ironing board are available for your use.

- Small beach toys and beach towels are provided for kids, and there are a few board games for family fun.

- Guests may park in the parking lot right next to the unit, and bike racks are available at the entrance for securely locking up bikes.

- This unit is a block away from Franklin St.

- For a restful night’s sleep, there are earplugs in the nightstand and white noise machines in the bedroom to ensure a peaceful stay.



**Technology:**

- Smart TVs are provided in the living area and the master bedroom. (Though we recommend enjoying the great outdoors over watching TV!)

- High-speed WiFi is available for your use.



**Additional Info:**

We welcome guests of all backgrounds! However, due to past experiences with property damage and disrespectful renters, we will only accept booking requests from:

- Airbnb users who are "verified" and have positive reviews from other hosts.

- Renters who are 25 years of age or older.

- Guests without pets

- A maximum of four guests per reservation. Extra guests are not allowed.



We value our relationship with our neighbors, so events, gatherings, and parties are not allowed. To maintain the property in excellent condition for future guests, we strictly enforce these rules. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.



**Additional Notes:**

- Baby-Proofing: The unit is not baby-proofed. Furniture is not secured to walls, outlet blockers are not provided, and cabinets/drawers are not locked. You assume responsibility for the safety of all guests, including infants and children.



**CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT INFO**

- Between 4:00 PM and 10:00 PM (Central Standard Time)

Please note: We do not allow late check-ins, and there is no after-hours customer service available. Guests must arrive within the designated check-in window.

- Check-out Time: By 10:00 AM.

- Check-in Instructions: Detailed check-in instructions, including a key code for entry, will be sent via Airbnb messenger on the morning of your scheduled arrival.

- Cancellation Policy: We have a moderate cancellation policy. For full details, please refer to Airbnb’s cancellation guidelines.



**GUEST ACCESS**

Guests have full access to the entire property. At least one host is always available via text if you need assistance during your stay.



**FOR STAYS LONGER THAN 21 DAYS**

An additional cleaning fee ($110) will be applied to ensure the continued cleanliness and maintenance of the unit, as our cleaners will be required to service the unit every 20 days. This charge helps us provide a high standard of cleanliness throughout your extended stay. Additionally, we will require a $300 refundable deposit, which will be returned promptly once our cleaners confirm there is no damage to the property.

Guests can access their unit from the front main entrance. Door code will be emailed before the guests' check-in.
