Due to me having surgery I wasn’t able to go out so I had to utilize the balcony to enjoy the weather which provided a lovely view of the water and boats, it most definitely provided a sense of relaxation. Description it is not a true one Bedroom. It is a hotel room with 2 Queen Beds, a kitchenette and bathroom. Very Quiet, great views. Owner very responsive. We enjoyed our stay. The hop on hop off stop is just down the street and we used it. The mall at the end of the street has plenty of places to eat. We would recommend. It served its purpose of providing us a place to stay for my event I was attending. It’s not updated. The smell of smoke wafted every time we entered, and there was trash left from the previous persons, the toilet never flushed properly, and none of the light switches worked the lamps. My daughters stayed in two other rooms in this hotel and they were beautiful! One of them paid less than I did. The owner was very responsive when I reached out. but it be was definitely lacking. It had a small kitchen and there weren’t even paper towels available, we had two face cloths for 5 days. The owners need to spend some money and upgrade the room, and pay attention to some details like I mentioned previously. It did have a nice view of Biscayne Bay. My friends and I were so grateful for our awesome stay in Miami. It’s our first time there and we had an amazing time. Vacation is not complete to have a place to call home for the times we were there and staying at Northeast Coconut Grove made our stay peaceful, safe and felt like home away from home. The pool and hot tub close way too early, but that is the hotels issue not the host. The plug ins could use an update. The cords kept falling out otherwise it was great! Would definitely recommend! The building itself is beautiful and high end in a safe, vibrant neighborhood. Close to great restaurants and local bars it's the best “home base” for a girls getaway.
