We had a lovely stay, everything was very clean and welcoming. Overall we had a very relaxing time, thanks so much for making us feel so welcome Pip!!!
A lovely cottage in a beautiful location. Great kitchen and we enjoyed dining beneath the chandelier! Nice big and secure yard for the pooch to play in.Pip was very helpful and quick to respond to queries. Would definitely stay here again.
Great place to stay - peace and quiet. Secure yard for a dog.
Very comfortable with everything supplied for time away.

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful cottage immensely! Absolutely beautiful and quiet area.. Cottage was so homey.. Will definitely consider coming back
Pip, Tom and family are friendly hosts and great people. The location is an enjoyable getaway from busy city life. We took our doggy and were fortunate enough to be shown some sheep & Kelpie herding. The kids really enjoyed it, the accommodation was very clean and comfortable. Would love to visit again.
Thanks so much for your hospitality Pip. We loved visiting your corner of the world. Foggy Mt Dundas, starry nights, watching working dogs and the sheep all delightful!
This was an ideal base for hiking in the region with walkers of mixed abilities, plus dog!
Great communication and responsiveness in the lead up to the visit. Very clean and cute cottage. We enjoyed the beds which were comfortable and lovely shower. But surprised there was no milk for our tea/coffee in the morning. I would expect that as a stay for over 600 for the weekend.

Was a beautiful home to stay at, with everything that you require. Pip had the fire lit for us on our arrival which was much appreciated. Will definetly be back for a proper holiday stay with the family/friends to unwind. Thanks again Pip
We had a lovely time staying at Elfin Cottage. Pip and Tom were very friendly and welcoming and we appreciated very much being able to bring our dog and know that he was safe on the property. The cottage was very clean and had everything we needed including a great view and a very effective wood heater. The bed was very comfortable with beautiful linen. We look forward to returning.
If you are looking for a stay away from your busy life, this is the spot. Peaceful, scenic with abundant bird life and central to towns in south western Victoria, such as Balmoral, Cavendish, Coleraine, Dunkeld and Hamilton. Easy day trips to the Grampians.
On a sheep farm and kelpie stud, you will see some of the day to day working of the property.
Your hosts Pip and Tom will make you feel most welcome and the property has everything you need for an enjoyable stay.
We stayed for a few days at Elfin Cottage and we had a great time. Pip and Tom are amazing hosts. We were able to learn all about their sheep farm and their kelpie dogs. It's a very family oriented place. It's a beautiful spot for a relaxing time with the family. Kids had a great time playing outdoors and being around animals. The beautiful cottage was very clean, fully equipped with lovely quality furniture a modern kitchen, aircon and a fireplace to keep you warm. Great place to bring your book or to go for a hike. Highly recommend this family business. We will come back again. Thanks again Pip and Tom for an amazing time!
We booked this place to spend few days with family and friend at the country side and away from busy city life. And our expectation was fulfilled. We found Tom and Pip as very friendly and welcoming host. The beds are quite good. The kitchen is well equipped with adequate utensils, cutlery and crockery. The bathroom is satisfactory.
There are few areas for improvement - Free wi-fi would have been nice
- The gas burner needs servicing as yellow flame deposits black soot on pots and pans
- TV reception is poor as expected with indoor antenna. Outdoor antenna will improve the signal strength
- Few cobwebs could have been cleaned up
We had a beautiful stay at Pips cottage, It was everything we wanted. The cottage was so cosy and the outlook was just stunning! Thanks so much for a memorable trip!
Fires, sheep, working dogs, mountain vistas, cute cottages, peace and quiet, fresh air. Literally everything I was after and it delivered. Thanks Pip and Tom we'll be back!
Nice quiet spot, pity about the barking, mosquitoes and wasps. No WiFi and limited things for kids to do, but we weren't there to stay in the accommodation. We were there to go through Mum's estate.Pip was great. Thanks for the stay.
Our praise cannot be high enough to Pip and Tom for a warm welcome and stay that ourselves and especially our kids will always remember. The cottage is perfect for a big family like ours, and has all that you need for everyday comfort.
We loved the beautiful countryside around the farm and the added benefit of seeing the farm in their Farm vehicles with Pip as host while drafting some sheep.
Delightful hosts that take me back to ny childhood on my Grandparents farm, i cannot recommend this experience enough if you wish to escape the hurly burly of city life.
Many thanks Pip, Tom and George!
