Top McCabe Lake Hotel Reviews
Cranberry Inn of Mercer
10/10 Excellent
"Very nice cabin with modern fixtures and decorations. Very nice property."
"The cabin was nice. The one problem we had was taken care very quickly. It was quiet and close by Minoqua. The only thing I would say is that the pier was shaky. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay. "
"Property was really nice. We rented a pontoon boat and took that out to fish and watch wildlife (baby loons!!). Fishing off the dock was fun.The water was perfect for swimming. The property had shared kayaks, canoes, row boat, etc which is perfect for the no wake lake.6 of us stayed in the lodge and it was more than comfortable. The lodge was well stocked with kitchen items and plenty of towels. The little dog run area off the front porch was great for our dogs! They didn’t have to be toted around the property. It is a shared property, so beach area and such are common areas."
Stunning 180 degree views from Gresham Retreat's 520 ft of private lakefront
10/10 Excellent
"Gresham Retreat never fails to deliver an excellent, stress free vacation. The privacy from any neighbors, good fishing right off the pier, swimming (with the Lily Pad float always a big hit), the many kayaks available, firepit and a beautiful house with room for everyone. Those are just some of the reasons we continue to make Gresham Retreat our summer vacation destination."
"Listing was fairly accurate. Except it says no pets and i found lots of what looked to be white dog hair throughout. Grill was unusable. The dock in the pictures are not the same dock. One of the steps down to the dock was broken and hazardous. We had to step over it. And there were no working outdoor lights. We made the best of our stay. Cant beat the location."
Charming and Cozy, 3-Season, Fence Lake Cottage with Beautiful Sunset View
10/10 Excellent
"Stayed at this rental with my sister for a getaway weekend. The house had everything we needed and owner Neil is very responsive to questions. Spent time on the lake in the kayaks. Beautiful and quiet lake. Thanks for a great weekend stay!"
