Kaba Saradiel is located in Mawanella, just 14 miles from Kandy Royal Botanic Gardens and 17 miles from Kandy Train Station. This property offers access to a balcony and free private parking. Bogambara Stadium is 17 miles away and Kandy City Center Shopping Mall is 18 miles from the chalet.  
  
The air-conditioned chalet consists of 2 bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen with dining area, and 1 bathroom with bath. A flat-screen TV with satellite channels is offered. For added privacy, the accommodation features a private entrance.

It was awfully packed over the full moon weekend (would not recommend visiting during this period)! This pavilion-like structure at the front Paththirippuwa, or Octagon. It is a symbol of identity in Kandyan Architecture. In the olden days, the king would stand there to address his citizens who were gathered in front of him. The golden roof behind stands over the Buddha tooth relic that this temple is famous for.  
Footwear is not permitted inside, so you should either carry a bag where you can keep your shoes, or leave your shoes out on the grass like everyone else!
