A really enchanting, detached, village holiday cottage with views to sheep-grazed, craggy hillsides and within a 2-minute stroll of a couple of village inns, both serving food. The interior is a work of love and provides a real home from home. Carsington Lake, 2 miles, offers RYA sailing, canoeing, wind surfing and fishing, and there are extensive cycle paths around the lake and on the High Peak Trail nearby. Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, Ashbourne, Bakewell and Buxton are all within half an hour’s drive, while Alton Towers is just 15 miles. Pony trekking, 5 miles. Wirksworth, 3 miles, has a full range of shops. Free WiFi There are steps within the property. Fireworks/drones are not allowed at this property.
