Includes wireless cable internet ! Quiet and private, this retreat sleeps 6 comfortably. Recently upgrades in 2023, kitchen completely upgraded, master bedroom king size Bob-O-Pedic bed and bedroom set, 2nd bedroom queen sized Bob-O-Pedic bed and bedroom set. Living room couches as well. Take a swim in the pool, BBQ and relax on the back deck, or take a stroll on the beach less than a mile away. You can visit the many local beaches, golf at the nearby courses, shop at Mashpee Commons, play miniature golf, attend the summer concert series, walk or hike the resorts trails, bike anywhere, fish, or ... do nothing and sit on the back deck, grill up some steaks and swim in your own pool! We only book Saturday to Saturday. I just spend a week in there and would do it again. The place is clean and it has everything you need to have a great vacation, especially if you want to relax, cook on-site and enjoy the pool (Fully equipped kitchen, beach towels, tan lotions, candles, games, and more ). The location worked for us well, because we like to explore and drive. Most of the near beaches are private, but there are a couple with public access about 10 minutes away. Even on rainy days the pool was fun, and the location allowed us to have easy day trips to Woods hole and Falmouth. The location was ideal for location to beaches. We loved the fact that it included a pool, an ice maker and that so many towel were included. Impressed with the glass floral arrangement on the dining room table. The extra condiments in the kitchen are very helpful, salt container was empty. Hope our critique can be seen as helpful, and not as complaints. Noticed the following, cord on the master bedroom blinds and the cord on the living room blind need work or replacement. The en-suite bathroom window does not have a working opening mechanism. We have been on the Cape at this time of year, but have never seen the yellow pollen and the dangly seed strings that fill the pool. I improvised a screen to cover the intake at the edge of the pool from the hand skimmer. I removed it from the pool and using duck tape, hung it so that the seeds were trapped there. Then I removed them by hand. This meant there was nothing getting into the skimmer. I have a picture of this if you would like to see it. When the pool maintenance man came, he saw it and was impressed. A bent wire coat hanger and window screen could easily make something like this, for this time of year. We were on the Cape to celebrate our 50th Wedding Anniversary, and your cottage was a lovely treat. Perfectly located near shopping/outlets, short drive to beaches, and Falmouth (with nice shops and restaurants). Also, just a short drive to the ferries to Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard. Larry, the owner was extremely communicative and helpful, making our stay a memorable one. We've typically stayed in Chatham or Provincetown, but were really impressed by this area of the Cape. The house and pool were clean and a perfect size for our family of four. The pool patio has lots of space, with two tables and a large number of chairs and reclining chairs, and is well lit if you want to go for a night swim or just relax outside in the evening. Location was excellent, \~5 minute drive from South Cape beach state park. We also biked the Shining Sea Bikeway, only \~15 minute drive away and in my opinion the nicest rail trail on the Cape. Many options for restaurants at Mashpee Commons but a bit of a hike (15-20 min) if you want to go elsewhere for a meal. Many restaurants at Mashpee Commons are doing pickup this year and some have outdoor and limited indoor seating. Luckily two large grocery stores are close if or want to cook for yourself and the house has a full kitchen stocked with cooking gear and a grill. We had one inquiry for Larry and he responded very quickly. Overall, very happy with our stay! ##### Aaron B. The pool area appeared to be new and recently refreshed was nice to see as some units in the this neighborhood have older pools. The house is exactly as pictured, well equipped and immaculate. Check-in/Check-out was easy with Larry providing us all the information that we needed prior to our arrival. We spent most of our time lounging by the pool or at the nearby South Cape Beach ( 5 min drive away).
