I've been to many many fine hotels. Charmante is #1. It was a "pinch me" experience. And somehow the staff were just as wonderful as the property! Seriously, this place is worth traveling for just to stay at. The room, the 2nd floor coffee lounge (unreal), the 4th floor speakeasy, the restaurant, the art, the decor. Each was a 10/10.

Excellent hotel. Everything was spotless, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast had plenty of choices, the afternoon tea was a lovely bonus, and the dinner was excellent. I also enjoyed the steam room and the beautiful lobby. The location is perfect, with a convenience store right downstairs, close to the bus station, an airport bus stop nearby, and Bryggen just steps away. Highly recommended!
