It was centrally located for us to visit the following: Biltmore Estate, Linville Caverns, Linville Falls, Mount Mitchell, Looking Glass Falls, Sliding Rock, Lake James, and Catawba Meadows Park. Screened in deck overlooking the river kept the bugs away. Barton and Marsha were incredible host. HIGHLEY RECOMMEND Marsha's chef service. The location is exactly what I needed which was quite peaceful and secluded. We needed to get away and find tranquility. We spent most of our time lounging on the enclosed patio enjoying the fire table. The property has river access. Enjoyed listening to the birds in the morning. Lots to do nearby. Check out the Linville Caverns and Linville falls nearby. Awesome hiking. Host is extremely helpful and communicates promptly. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Will be back! ##### German R.
