"Absolutely Brilliant Hotel, we stayed in the family suite, receptionists were welcoming, efficient, and couldn’t do enough for you, in fact all the staff we met went above and beyond to make our short stay a happy one. Parking was easy as a hotel resident, just tell the reception desk your registration at check in and they do the rest, car is on the system and parking free until your stay is over, lovely bar and restaurant on site, food was lovely and reasonably priced, good drink choice from the bar and again reasonably priced, Breakfast was included in the price of the room, and was again excellent, something for everyone, I had the full English, which was lovely and the best sausages I’ve had in a long time, will definitely be coming back for another visit soon, Thankyou to everyone who made our stay as great as it was,"

"This property was great for a family holiday: close to the beach as well as shops, cafes and restaurants. The property was clean on arrival and well equipped and the back garden was an added bonus. It was good to be able to park 2 cars at the property for the whole time.Beds were comfortable with good pillows.I was particularly impressed with the communication before, during and after our stay. Questions were answered promptly and help and advice given."

"We loved having a room with a view of the sea. And a little private terrace to go with it. Very beautiful as dusk fell. Being in the heart of the Old Town was great. However, for a top room (£300+a night), we were expecting something more 'special.' The beds were comfy, the linen lovely, and the art work charming, but the room didn't feel special, and it felt tired. A friendly guy brought us milk for our coffee at 8am - but why was it not in the room? No mini fridge either. A mini fridge is pretty much standard in a pricey room! We'd heard the breakfasts were great. However, the eggs, though perfectly poached, were smothered in manufactured gloop. So, a mixed bag! However, the staff (especially the waitress at breakfast) were lovely."

"We had a lovely long weekend at Walpole House as a group of families celebrating a big birthday. Joe was great at communicating with us throughout the build up and during our stay and ensured that we had all the info and everything we needed for a really good weekend. The house was well equipped and spacious and ideally located for making the most of Margate. Would definitely recommend."

"A cute house in a great location. Nice spacious bedrooms and, unusually, plenty of hanging space and hangers! Beds were very comfortable but pillows were a mixed bag.The living room was nice, but some details in the kitchen/dining area could be improved for greater comfort, particularly seating.Nice private garden area, not especially easy to utilise.Street parking in the area is very busy."

"Ballarat house was absolutely brilliant. The host has nailed it with this property and was perfectly located for our trip. All bathrooms were clean and aesthetic. The self contained room downstairs with bathroom and kitchen is brilliant too. Would love to stay again!"
