Beautiful view and direct access to the sea. Price reductions depend on the number of guests and the duration of stay. Please request a quote before booking. The place is quiet and green. Looking South, the house is very sunny and sheltered from most strong winds. The sea is beautiful and safe for children. The weather is mostly perfect from Spring till October, and the water gets really warm (as a rough guide, the base temperature of the sea is 15°C/59°F, by the end of spring it increases at the very least beyond 20°C/68°F, reaching in excess of 28°C/82°F even offshore during summer and then slowly drops to say 23°C/73°F by the end of November). It's the house where I chose to live since 2010 after spending every summer in the village since I was five years old. There is a big difference in general atmosphere and surrounding activity between summer and the rest of the year. During summer, quite a few restaurants and bars are open in the village, and the village is relatively crowded (not as crowded as say Villasimius, e.g. here there is always some free space on the beach). Spring and autumn are much quieter months and best suited for car equipped guests who like driving short distances around and exploring, or intend to spend their whole time in the location, also cooking for themselves (even though usually a few local restaurants are open). During winter, the local supermarket opens on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. A winter stay would only be recommended for business travel as an alternative to hotels, but most winters are so mild and dry that not too chilly guests could still enjoy a holiday here. Beaches: Walking down the garden one reaches the rocks, where it is easy to \- get into the sea for a swim or to reach the beach (water is quite shallow, most adults have foot beyond the immersed rocks, where the sandy bottom starts) \- walk along a trail of a couple of hundred metres to reach the Cannesisa sandy beach \- walk on the rocks to reach a little-known recessed small pebble beach The main beach can also be reached through pedestrian passages departing form the road. Abundant free parking is available behind the beach. The small pebble beach can also be reached in a couple of minutes through a pedestrian passage, avoiding most of the walk on rocks. From there one can walk to another very long sandy beach, Kal'e Moru/Geremeas (3 min. walk, no rocks). Mistral wind seldom blows. Even then, the garden and the adjacent sea stretch are sheltered. But the Cannesisa beach can become a bit windy and choppy; alternative sheltered beaches would be the pebble beach, Gennemari beach (the second beach in the village, 20 min. walk or 5 min. by car) or any other beach on the East coast starting at Capo Carbonara, Villasimius. About the accommodation: The house has been completely restructured and offers a high level of comfort. It stays cool during the summer, internet is provided, electricity is included (20kWh per day + 0.25 Euro per additional kWh), gas and water also, alarm, cctvs surveillance outside (not connected to the internet), air conditioning in the bedrooms, barbecue. Each bedroom/suite is provided with a set of towels, beach towels, linen, mattress cover, pillows, light blanket and pile blanket. The measures of the beds are as follows: ground floor suite, king 1st floor suite, double 1st floor bedroom, king 2nd 1st floor bedroom, double Other equipment available subject to restocking in case of loss/breakage before the stay: \- high chair \- travel cot \- small mattress \- foldable single bed \- snorkelling equipment \- beach umbrellas \- two bikes, for local trips Outdoors furniture: \- tables and chairs on balconies \- two tables, one sun umbrella, one king-sized sun umbrella, 4 lounge chairs, two deckchairs, chairs on terraces. The kitchen is generously equipped with appliances and all sorts of kitchenware items. Logistics: Check-in is from 5 PM onwards (no restrictions on late arrivals). Check-out is at 1PM or earlier (no restrictions on early departures). I always meet the guests at least for arrival and departure. Arrivals and departures can be scheduled any day of the week so, depending on the calendar, it might be possible to check-in an check-out at any preferred time. Rules: Broken dishes and glasses included in the rental price (fair usage policy applies). Please keep a count so that I can swiftly replace the missing items. Duties of the guests include normal tenant duties such as reporting problems in a timely manner, sorting out garbage and placing it at the gate on scheduled days. Guest access Guests have access to the whole property, that is 1250 sqm garden and house. The access road to the private parking is shared with the neighbours. Interaction with guests Usually I stay 500 meters away from the house, so it's quite easy to meet me to ask questions or request assistance. The neighborhood There are plenty of things to do here, boating, fishing, diving, horse riding, shopping... But most people just end up relaxing and enjoying the sun after a swim. Getting around Bus transportation is available, but it is more practical to have a car. Most of the time my two bikes are available and working. Other things to note During Spring house martins raise their child on the living room balcony, totally unimpressed by inhabitants of the house. At the end of the day a bit of cleaning might be required, nothing terrible. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet und es ist alles vorhanden an Küchenutensilien. Bei der Ankunft gab es ein kleines Paket an Lebensmittel zum starten und schon vorbereitete Eiswürfel. Es gibt Schnorchelausrüstung, Sonnenschirme und Strandtücher die verwendet werden können. Zum Meer gibt es einen Weg der für Kinder im Grundschulalter gut zu meistern ist. Für Erwachsene ohne Einschränkungen ist er kein Problem. Brahim ist ein toller Gastgeber und sehr um das Wohl seiner Gäste bemüht. The house is in a great location and the facilities were clean and tidy. Nothing was missing. There was even a stocked fridge at the beginning. The host was very nice and also helpful with his tips. Der Garten um das Haus herum ist sehr liebervoll angelegt und es lassen sich viele Südfrüchte finden. Der Zugang zum Meer ist für Kleinkinder schwierig, da es über Steine und Felsen geht, aber für uns war es perfekt. Wir konnten morgens noch vor dem ersten Kaffee eine Runde schwimmen und auch der Weg zum Strand ist gut machbar. Hervorzuheben ist die gut ausgestattete Küche und das Willkommens"paket" - ein perfekter Start. Wir haben uns außerordentlich wohl gefühlt. ##### Ilka H. Alles sehr sauber und gepflegt. Uns hat es dort so gut gefallen, dass wir uns kaum von der Stelle bewegt haben und einfach nur das Haus und den Strand dort genossen haben. Brahim ist sehr freundlich und antwortet jederzeit auf Fragen, ausserdem hat er uns für den Starttag mit einigen Lebensmitteln versorgt, was ich bis anhin noch nie erlebt habe. Vielen Dank dafür Brahim! Zum nahegelegenen Strand sind wir hauptsächlich über die Strasse gelangt, da für uns der Weg doch einiges einfacher war, als über die Felsen zu kraxeln. Über die Strasse braucht man dafür knapp 8 Minuten. Man kann aber auch gleich unten bei den Felsen schnell ins Wasser. Wir freuen uns auf jeden Fall auf unseren nächsten Urlaub dort! ##### Monika B. Wir waren 4 Erwachsene und 3 Kinder (3-5 J). Das Haus ist absolut herausragend. Liebevoll und Detailverliebt eingerichtet, Ausstattung gehoben mit allem was man braucht. Tolle Terrasse und schöner Garten, der direkte Zugang zum Meer vom Haus ist nahezu einzigartig. Das Meer wunderschön sauber und klar, einzig der Zugang ist für kleine Kinder schwierig. Im Ort gibt es das nötigste. Der nächste Strand ist gut, im Ort (5 minuten mit dem Auto) gibt es noch einen Strand der besser ist. Auch Kleinkind geeigneter. Der Vermieter Brahim ist sehr freundlich, entspannt und versorgt einen mit allen Infos die man braucht. Alles in allem ein wunderschöner Urlaub, das Haus ist sehr zu empfehlen!! ##### Andreas E. Supermarkt und Restaurant in der Nähe. Den Strand haben wir jeden Tag genutzt. Uns hat es super gefallen, der Vermieter ist sehr hilfsbereit und sehr sympathisch. Sehr zu empfehlen. ##### Mario R. Vom Haus selbst ist man in ca. 7 Min. über einen kleinen Steinweg am Sandstrand. Wir konnten den Weg mit unseren Kindern (kleinste ist 6) und Hund hervorragend mehrmals am Tag gehen. Das Haus selbst hat alles was man braucht, inkl. großer Terrasse mit Meerblick, 3 Balkonen mit Meerblick, Außendusche, Stellplatz. Der Gastgeber Brahim ist superfreundlich und hilfsbereit! Zur Begrüßung ist sogar der Kühlschrank mit Lebensmitteln für den ersten Tag befüllt! Wir kommen gerne wieder! ##### Michael W. Séjour de 14 nuits en août 2022 ### 10/10 – Excellent #### Tobias B. 18 juin 2022 Points forts : Propreté #### Schönes Haus in wundervoller Lage Das Haus liegt in wundervoller Lage oberhalb der Bucht von Torre delle Stelle mit Blick auf die Bucht. Das Haus ist ansprechend eingerichtet, die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet und auch sonst ist viel nützliche Ausstattung vorhanden (Sonnenschirme, Sandelsachen, Fön). Ein besonderer Service ist, dass bei Ankunft schon viele Lebensmittel vorhanden sind, selbst der Kühlschrank war gut gefüllt. Der Weg hinab zum Meer war selbst für unseren 5-jährigen gut zu machen und er konnte dort auch schwimmen gehen. Für unsere 2-Jährige war es etwas beschwerlich, aber man konnte sie tragen, da es wirklich nur zwei Minuten sind. Der Weg über die Felsen zum Sandstrand ist eher etwas mit leichtem Gepäck. Für uns mit 3 Kindern nicht ganz ideal, aber man kann notfalls außen herum, dann aber mit dem Auto. Alles in allem hatten wir einen tollen Aufenthalt. ##### Tobias B. Tolles Haus mit schönem Umschwung und der Ausblick von der Terrasse im Schlafzimmer (oberer Stock) ist unschlagbar. So soll der Start am Morgen wie auch der Ausklang nach einem Tag auf Sardinien sein. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder. Die Lage ist traumhaft, einige wenige Schritte den Weg runter zum Meer, welches zum Baden, schnorcheln, paddeln und einfach sein einlädt! Das Haus ist sehr groß, hat vier Doppelzimmer und eignet sich gut für eine Großfamilie oder auch für zwei Familien. Es ist gut eingerichtet und das Willkommens-Paket von Brahim war sehr großzügig. Die Terrasse und die zwei Balkone mit verschieden Schattenmöglichkeiten ein großer Pluspunkt! Ein Schlafzimmer ist gegen das Meer gerichtet, wo der Sternenhimmel aus dem Bett beobachtet werden kann! Einen Sternabzug bei der Sauberkeit, da wir die ersten Mieter der Saison waren - zum Teil etwas staubig. Aber kein Grund nicht wieder zu kommen! Brahim ist jederzeit gut erreichbar und wir haben ihn sehr zuvorkommend erlebt - herzlichen Dank für die unvergesslichen Ferien! ##### Jacqueline T. Super der gefüllte Kühlschrank bei der Anreise. Das Meer ist ein Traum. Da hat Brahims Schnorchelausrüstung weiter geholfen. Leider war das Haus nicht so sauber, dass man sich sofort (dreckiges Geschirr) wohlfühlen konnte. Deshalb der Abzug. Vielleicht lag es auch nur am Ende der Saison.
