Perfectly located in Shallowbag Bay Marina on Roanoke Island in Manteo, NC. The open-concept living space is bright and welcoming, with comfortable seating that showcases the bay and marina views. The large kitchen, complete with a wet bar, is fully stocked with everything you need to prepare meals. Three bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms provide plenty of space for family or friends. Covered, designated parking is conveniently located near the elevator entrance. Step out onto the front and back decks to relax and soak in the surroundings. The front deck overlooks the marina, Roanoke Sound, and downtown Manteo—perfect for sunsets or morning coffee. The back balcony is a nature lover’s paradise, with otters, waterfowl, and even occasional bald eagle sightings. Guests enjoy access to the community pool and fitness center, plus on-site dining at Salt and Cypress. It was perfect for our needs as two older couples. The hosts are very responsive. The views are amazing. The beds are very comfy. It’s very quiet & relaxing. It’s within walking distance of Darrel’s, The Christmas Shop and several other places. There’s a board walk if you want to walk along the water. We appreciated having the Keurig, which seemed faster than a normal Keurig, perfect for another cup of coffee at the spur of the moment. The complex is quiet with great views on both sides. The little town of Monteo was so cute and it was a great option to avoid the hustle and bustle of the beach. Beds were great for those who like a firm mattress. The owners left amazing restaurant recommendations. I also highly recommend visiting the Alligator River nature preserve at dusk to see the bears.
