The Carriage House which is a second story rental has beautiful views of protected wetlands where there are migrating Canadian Geese, thousands of croaking peepers, wild turkeys, deer and black bear. Sitting on the front porch, looking at the tranquil setting will feel like days gone by. There are many places to wonder and explore on the estate…. \*\*This is a second level rental\*\* The adjacent Country House is located on the property and the 2 homes located near each other can both be reserved to accommodate large groups comfortably. The tranquil setting is wonderful for children…ideal for sitting around the campfire in Adirondack style seating, star gazing, roasting marshmallows, catching lightening bugs, grilling out, picnic lunches and enjoying time with family and friends while having all the wonderful things to do in Tioga County in your back yard. We absolutely loved the houses. We did rent both. We had a fire and an an amazing moon rose over the backyard. The property is excellent with ample room for gathering and visiting, both indoors and out. Cornhole sets and fire pit were favorites for our group. Everything was clean end it was spacious. One thing I would suggest is to let people know that in the carriage house where we stayed, there was a large flight of steps to climb to get in and out of it.
