I think overall this is a great stay, it’s close enough to the city to be walkable but far enough that it feels removed from the very touristy area. The Residence Due Torro would definitely benefit from being small upgrades to specially the bathroom, linens, and ensuring there’s not ants. Be mindful that is it an older building but Italy itself is old, which personally enjoyed and it adds to the authenticity of the trip!
Great location , hotel staff very friendly and quick to answer any question. Disappointing that the pool wa reserved for only hotel guests and if you wanted access it was 40 euros per person per day. Also to take note the residence does not have any beach towels . Despite it all I would go back .

Get the sea view room. That’s why you’re there. Reasonably priced for right on the water. The higher up the room, the further away from the road noise. A quick walk to the town, but after a weeks stay we started to call for the shuttle. Very easy to do. The lagoon next door is a beautiful spot. Maiori is were it’s at because it’s sleepy compared to Almalfie, Positano, Sorrento. Catch the ferry from town to go visit. You must be a good driver to dare the coastal drive. Know how to communicate with your car, horn, and eyes. Be passive and aggressive at the same time. Or rent a Vespa.
We had an amazing stay!
Our initial room lacked air conditioning but the staff was very accommodating. We got switched to a beautiful room next day and loved our stay. The view was absolutely breathtaking.
Yes, you can hear the buses honk when they do by but it’s didn’t bother us at all. There are two public beaches a short walk away or you can purchase spaces at a nearby beach clubs for about $20 per person. We decided recommend the residence for families.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. They had a lot of knowledge of the area and how to get transportation.
The room is an old apartment so one room is in the kitchen. It was a nice kitchen so if you wanted to cook you could.
It is close to town and the beach down the busy road.
Great choice for breakfast , and not only. Very pitoresque location, good access to Amalfi coast other cities/ regions via ferry , nice very helpful front desk personnel with good and rapid communication. Great overall choice to reside during my 5 days vacation in Maiori.

It is important to note that Residence Due Torri is separate from Hotel Due Torri. The Residence reservation is essentially similar to VRBO. You do not get any room service without an extra price. The location and seaside view is absolutely stunning and totally worth it. The dining options are available at the hotel Due Torri. It is pricey, but fantastic. The fish of the day options are wonderful. For families with young kids, chicken cutlets with fries is not on the menu, but always available.
Beautiful location and property on the coast. Very spacious room with large kitchenette. Staff were very friendly and professional. Excellent menu options and dining (lunch, dinner and breakfast). Easy walk down some stairs to a local beach.
The location was perfect and the views were amazing! Easy walk (or shuttle) to the center of town for shopping or dining. The breakfast buffet was so good!
We liked that Maiori is one of the quieter towns along the coastline - with options to travel to Amalfi, Positano or Capri Island when we chose to do so. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking to get away from the crowds.
We liked that it had access to its own little semi private beach...restaurant was beautiful....rooms could use an upgrade and better bedding would.be good.
