We enjoyed our stay thoroughly. It is a beautiful old home that is lovingly being taken care of by the home owner. When I booked the stay, I was a bit concerned about the railroad tracks being located next to the home. I needn’t have been concerned. A train did go by while we were enjoying a glass of wine on the deck. It was fun to experience. Apparently another went by during the night - though I did not hear it. The homeowner gave us a bottle of wine, and said we earned it. 😄 The homeowner is very personable, we enjoyed our conversations with her and she made good recommendations for dining and shopping. The host did a splendid job communicating with us. She left battery candles on for us as a bad storm was approaching.
