Overall hotel condition and service is excellent

Our experience at The Fairmont in Riyadh was absolutely one of the finest hospitality experiences I have ever been blessed with experiencing. The Fairmont Riyadh team was the finest example of truly caring service, providing my wife and me with a wonderfully memorable 25th wedding anniversary stay. We have stay 4 times at this hotel during the summer - it gets quite busy and all the swimming pools are crowded, but overall we had a great time. There just one lady at the check in that definitely needs some training on customer service. Not very polite.

Clean and comfortable rooms.

The location is miles away from any other amenities, situated as it is in the middle of the desert outside of Riyadh. However, it would be excellent for a family with children as they have a huge kid-friendly pool and kids club. I really enjoyed the restaurant which allows a choice between buffet-style eating or a la carte. The latter offered some excellent quality food. My room was vast (I had a suite) and it came with a large balcony. The one facility located next door is the “Bestival” concert venue. So if you are going along, this is an excellent choice to stay close by.
