The gardens are relaxing and very well tended. The food was some of the best we had in northern Thailand. The room itself was spotless and cleaned regularly, a basket of fruit was provided as a welcome gift. The hotel arranged scooters for us to tour the surrounding countryside. The staff are fabulous and very friendly. My partner and I had such a great relaxing long weekend at this resort. It's quaint and quiet. The buildings are well built, simple yet classy. The layout of the property is great. Buildings are spaced for great privacy. The pool is huge enough for lap swimming. Everything is so well kept. The food was also a pleasant surprise with how good it was. They have a wide menu though we mostly ate Thai and it was excellent. My partner owns a Laos restaurant so when she says that, that means it's good. The owner were so welcoming and friendly. The staff were attentive and also so friendly and polite. I don't ever remember a stay as good as this.
