The room was very clean. The pet fee is reasonable - $15.00 for the stay. We arrived late and the owner was very accommodating. The breakfast is basic, but useful nevertheless. We stayed two days and did a lovely hike 11 minutes away at Blue Lake Provincial Park. It is a very convenient midway point when traveling across Canada, and the price is reasonable for this region.

Well maintained and clean place. The staff are polite, sweet and helpful. The manager at the reception was kind to provide extended hours as I wanted to attend my meeting. The lady at the breakfast time was sweet to provide hot coffee and wait even when I was running almost at the end of breakfast closing time. Overall the experience was very nice.

Very reasonable price. Had an outdoor bbq with a propane tank we used to grill a steak we bought in the town, tossed a bagged Cesar salad, and opened a bottle of wine. Enjoyed a beautiful meal and evening at the picnic table. Owner was extremely friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

It is a budget motel next to highway 17. We were driving a 26 ft Uhaul with and autotrailer and it was perfect as there was an entrance and and exit allowing us to park and pull through. Breakfast is very limited. The room was clean and we slept well. We chose it because there was almost nothing available in Dryden and Kenora. What was available was way too expensive but the Northside Motel was reasonable.
