"Hotel staff were lovely very welcoming and very helpful...a lady made sure she brought us fresh milk for the room and was really nice...thank you to her. Room was large with huge bathroom and big bath and excellent shower and spotlessly clean.. Beds were comfy as were pillows. 2 beds in the one room..a bed and a bed settee perfect for a family of 4...strangely only 2 cups for drinks. Hotel 10 mins from Corris craft centre which we were visiting. Had a lovely evening meal at the hotel..bit limited menu for kids but ok. Breakfast was included and this was the only area that let the hotel down...started at 8.30 and we were there at 8.35 ..only 2 people already there..to be told that they had only 1 sausage left....kind of a basic to have enough sausages for a full English brekkie..I get it maybe if we were last to go down and it had been busy but obvs they just hadnt got any in ready for brekkie...our grandson had it and obvs the staff were then having to tell every other guest as they ordered...heard a few people commenting how disappointing it was....very odd and have never come across this before. Overall apart from the breakfast experience the hotel was lovely."

"What an absolutely beautiful place! We were lucky enough to have stunning mountain views right from our window, and we loved watching all the different birds visiting the feeder outside. The couple who run the place are incredibly welcoming and friendly, which made us feel right at home. The accommodation itself was lovely and spotlessly clean, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. We would definitely stay here again! In fact, we might be back this way at the end of September, and if so, we are really hoping we can get another booking."

"Great for absolute peace and quiet. The views, all 360 degrees are stunning.The cottage is beautiful, butâ€¦.. needs a little TLC. It needs a deep clean, new room furniture and a shower where you donâ€™t bang your head on a beam. I would also suggest that the garden would benefit from new outdoor furniture with a few sun beds. When sunny, you have it all day sun.Our dogs loved the freedom of a large garden which is fully surrounded by fences, making this perfect for safety.Dolgellau, pronounced Dolgethi, has plenty of shops, including a large Spar for groceries and the chippy does a rather nice take out.Overall, if you want peace. This is the perfect location."

Everything we needed was there.Beautiful views from every angle.Liz checked up on us mid week to make sure everything was ok.Location was fantastic, in the middle of nowhere but less than a few minutes in the car into town.Would highly recommend and will keep it mind when we search for cottages next time"
