wonderful staff in hotel and restaurant; very nice breakfast buffet; large room with nice balcony; great location right on the beach. had a wonderful 3 night visit and would stay again if i return to maafushi.

We were two guests in a small room - 1 towel and 1 sheet and no window. Nk water between 11:30-1 on a Friday - ok but should have been given a heads up. Laundry is just washer with no real place to hang dry.

Maafushi is best place to experience Maldives on a budget. You will find all the water sports/activities, shops, food. There will be parties/games on Friday night. Don't forget to bargain as you can get really good prices once you do that.
Maafushi is a very small island, the size of a walmart in the US. You can walk around the island in 10mn. People are nice but be very carefull when going on excursion on a boat, check the boat first and if you do not like it do not board it.
