This cosy and comfortable home, retaining much of its original charm, provides a perfect base for holidays in Lyme Regis. Footpaths along the tranquil River Lym provide an attractive and easy walk to the seafront, shops, pubs and restaurants, or, heading upstream, walking routes in the beautiful surrounding countryside including the Wessex Ridgeway long distance route. The living room is cosy and comfortable, with a wood-burning stove. There is a sun room at the front of the property providing a lovely spot for relaxing, looking at the river, and watching the world go by. Off-road parking for a medium sized car is available on the property's driveway. Please note the access is awkward. Parents of young children should note the terraced garden and proximity of the river. It was lovely to walk along the river to reach the beach and township. The cabin itself was absolutely spotless and even roomier than the photos showed. We loved being able to eat out or cook up our own meals in the kitchen which had everything we needed. Definitely recommend. A very short walk into Lyme Regis with all its independent shops, cafes etc. The Town Mill and Lyme Regis Museum are well worth visiting. In a very hilly and steep Lyme Regis the cabin location is perfect as you can walk to town in 10-15 minutes along the river which is reasonably flat compared to much of the town. We appreciated having a dishwasher and although not cold enough to use in September, the wood burner looked very inviting. We did struggle to open the outside key box so perhaps some further instruction would have been helpful. We arrived to find milk and a chocolate bar in the refrigerator and ice in the freezer which was a lovely added touch. I would certainly recommend staying at this property when visiting Lyme Regis. ##### Gina d.
