This centrally-located vacation rental is perfect to soak up the best of Lake Lugano!

In addition to being just a stone\'s throw away from the lake, this holiday apartment is also just a few minutes\' walk from the supermarket, restaurants, picturesque hiking areas and Lido di Lugano. The apartment benefits from a second-floor location and offers a quiet balcony with open-air seating perfect to unwind with loved ones or a glass of your favourite drink and a good book!

Inside, the one-bedroom apartment can host up to 4 guests and consists of a luminous and modern living space with a double sofa bed, dining table and a kitchen cum diner with all essential utilities for a carefree stay. Guests will find a dishwasher, microwave, oven, coffee machine (Dolce Gusto) and toaster at their disposal to prepare quick, hassle-free meals on their holiday.

Although a car is not necessary to enjoy your stay in Lugano, if you are bringing one, then it can be parked for payment in front of the residence for a maximum of 1 hour. You can also park your car overnight for free in the blue zone and during the day ( 08.00 - 18.00 ) for a maximum of 1.5 hours with a parking disc behind the window.

The holiday apartment enjoys a well-serviced and well-connected location in Lugano, from where a wide range of restaurants, a supermarket, the Cassarate ferry terminal, bus stop and even the funicular to the sunniest summit in Ticino, Monte Brè, is within a 10-minutes walking distance.

The vibrant city centre of Lugano with the serene lakeshore Parco Ciani, the iconic Piazza della Riforma with numerous terraces, Trenino Turistico, Lugano casino, Lido di Lugano and a wide range of discos for party lovers is just 15-minutes walk from the holiday apartment. At the same time, for hikers, the suggestive Olive Grove trail, with Lido di San Domenico and the picturesque village of Gandria en route, is a 25-minute walk from here.

For day trips, Melide, San Salvatore and Bissone are within a 20-minute drive from here, meanwhile, the Maldives of Switzerland aka Verzasca Valley is 1 hour and 20 minutes away. The nearest international airport is Milan Malpensa, approximately a 50-minute drive from this holiday home in Lugano.

We checked out 4 days early..

Unfortunate circumstances meant we had to find somewhere to extend our stay in Lugano very last minute which is the only reason we ended up here. Constant issues with wifi dongles not working. The third one they brought eventually worked well. Dirty frying pan took 10 minutes to scrub off the burnt crust, non stick had been scraped off in places and was generally quite gross. It really needs replacing. No bottle opener / corkscrew Tiny TV in living room not plugged into anything Socket to the left of the TV didn't work so nowhere to plug anything in the living room unless you unplugged the wifi Sofa unbelievably hard Light on hob was not working, needed a head torch to cook anything in the kitchen Random collection of glasses look like they've been stolen from bars, some of which were dirty Bathroom door loudly drags on floor and gets stuck when you open and close it Plug in bathroom sink didn't work Only one set of keys which have to be collected and returned to their offices Mattress was too wide for the bed causing it to curve up over the frame on one side Overhead rain shower didn't work, only the small handheld shower due to a missing knob Overall very basic student type accommodation. You can see they have spent as little money as physical possible to make this place 'liveable'. Fine if you plan to spend no time here except sleeping I suppose. On the plus side, the location was great...
