Anyone who travels with children knows: a vacation doesn’t start at the lake or on a boat, but right at your lodging. And that’s exactly why we created this apartment. Not as a vacation rental with a “kid-friendly” label, but as a genuine place for families.

We’re parents ourselves. We know the feeling of having kids just tag along on vacation, of playrooms being empty, or of constantly having to apologize because things get too loud. It’s different here.

Here, kids are welcome to be themselves.

Our spacious 3-room vacation apartment is centrally located in Lübben in the Spreewald, just a few minutes’ walk from downtown yet in a quiet setting. Cafés, restaurants, shopping, the castle island, and access to the traditional Spreewald boats are all within easy reach.

At the same time, the apartment itself offers plenty of space to relax and enjoy a rainy day.

With about three full-sized rooms, an additional heated loggia, and a balcony, it can accommodate up to five people and a baby.

The kids’ room isn’t just a cot tucked away in a corner. It’s a room of its own with:

The apartment offers flexible sleeping arrangements:

• Bedroom with a double bed (1.60 m)
• Children’s room with a crib
• Sofa bed in the living room (1 person)
• Additional sleeping space in the heated loggia
• Crib available upon request

This makes the apartment ideal for:

• Families with 1–3 children
• Grandparents with grandchildren
• Small groups of up to 5 people

All beds are fully equipped—you don’t need to bring anything.

The living room combines comfort with individual style. The large dining table with five colourful chairs provides space for shared meals, game nights, or long conversations. A smart TV provides entertainment when needed.

There’s also a small wooden seating area for children here—family life doesn’t just take place in the kids’ room.

A special highlight is the enclosed and heated loggia. It serves as a retreat with a reading nook, a telescope, and additional sleeping space. Especially in spring or fall, it becomes a bright space with a view of the greenery—perfect for quiet moments.

The kitchen is fully equipped and is also suitable for longer stays:

The solid wood table with leather seats is perfect for breakfast or dinner—no need to go to a restaurant.

We didn’t want to create a sterile, run-of-the-mill vacation rental. Instead, we wanted to create a place where you’ll feel right at home after just a few hours. The art on the walls, the colours, the furniture—all of it is meant to radiate warmth.
