While the cottage itself is cosy and comfortable, it’s the location that truly shines. Pakefield is a much-loved coastal village on the Suffolk Heritage Coast, known for its relaxed atmosphere and dog-friendly beach. The sandy shoreline is just a short stroll from the cottage, making it easy to start each day with a walk along the sea or to catch a beautiful sunrise over the water. At low tide, the beach stretches for miles, ideal for paddling, beachcombing or simply watching the world go by. You can also hire horses for a memory making ride along the beach. The village has everything you need within walking distance – including a handful of excellent pubs serving real ales and hearty pub food, independent cafés, fish and chip shops, and even a theatre.
