Quiet retreat

I really enjoyed my stay for 4 weeks. The location was great and the surrounding nature is absolutely beautiful. There were days where there were deer and turkeys in the yard. This VRBO is well stocked in case you forget any items for your stay. Thanks for a great stay!

Perfect home away from home

This property ended up being a wonderful solution to a short-term stay for a relocation to the area. Clean, cozy, it offered every amenity you'd expect for a comfortable stay of two weeks. I loved the privacy and the quiet of the area. The owners were fantastic with communication and their flexibility to my schedule was greatly appreciated! Highly recommend if you're looking for a nice place to stay in the area.

A peaceful country hide-away.

Its a lovely, quiet property with lots of trees in the country. Kitties loved watching the squirrels and sitting on the porch for morning coffee was wonderful. The place has all you'll need & the bed is great!

Perfect Countryside Retreat

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Beautiful countryside get-away. The guest house is private and just behind the main house. Loved sitting on the deck and looking out at the woods in the evenings. Comfy bed. Peaceful and relaxing.Easy drive to lots of local restaurants and things to see and do. The owners were terrific and so accommodating from the time we made the reservation and throughout the entire stay. Great find!

LOVED IT

This is a perfect getaway. It is so peaceful and restful. I loved it, but it is not close to town, which for me was not a problem. I loved sitting on the front porch....listening to the birds and watching the squirrels. It was wonderful. Thank you Joyce!

Quiet retreat

Quiet retreat! The host was great at communicating and answering any questions we had. The property was quiet and perfect size for me and my husband and our 60 lb dog. The property had all the amenities you would need and provided plenty of entertainment opportunities. Great stay and would definitely recommend if you’re needing something in that area.

Very nice, clean, quiet property surrounded by nature. The apartment was perfect for us as we waited for our home renovation to finish. Joyce was very accommodating to our ever changing needs. The apartment was filled with some of the details that make a stay more enjoyable. Even our dog felt at home with the pet bed, bowls and treats for him! Joyce includes a welcome binder with local area information, and a diary where you can read previous guests comments and add your own experiences for future guests to consider. We have stayed in many homes in this area over the past year and can truly say we have been the most comfortable in this home.

Beautiful Country Rural Retreat

Love, love, loved it!!! Quiet. Well kept. Comfortable. It was perfect for our short visit. The late evening and early morning walks in the forest on the property was so refreshing. The furnishings were comfortable. Everything was clean and fresh. So much better than in a hotel! There was a lite bit of a drive to get to stores/tourist activities, but, the scenery made it worth it. Joyce was so responsive to our needs and it was great to work with her. We will definately stay there again!!! Thanks so much Joyce!!

Disappointed and freezing in Tennessee

We arrived in the middle of a cold front (18 degrees) and the digital lock box wouldn't work. Neither the owner or her husband were even in the state. The issue was sorted out with the help of a neighbor. The apartment wasn't clean. A pile of dust and hair was left in the middle of the floor and there were dirty dishes in the cupboard. The floors felt sticky and there was hair on the towels. The sink was splattered with red pasta sauce, as was the trashcan. The TV volume didn't work. The Nest thermostat wasn't working properly. After our first days outing we returned to the temperature in the apartment at 40 degrees. The second day it was 44 when we returned. The owner's solution was to offer us a free extra night despite knowing we were only in the area for three days.

Fantastic Apartment

We stayed in this apartment for almost 2 weeks. It was perfect for for my husband and I and our two medium sized dogs. It's about a 15 minute drive for groceries into Lenoir City, but there is a Dollar General about 5 mins away for those convenient items. We hiked with the dogs almost every day. There are a ton of options all under an hour away. For the days that were wet there are a number of paved greenways to use in nearby towns. Kingston has a small, but well kept, dog park that is less than 20 mins away. This apartment is a great location for exploring eastern and central TN. The property is quiet and safe. There is a fabulous porch to have morning coffee or watch the sunset. Inside the apartment the sofa was comfortable and the bed is fantastic (so much so I'm now considering buying one just like it). I cooked almost all of our meals there. The kitchen doesn't have everything but it is well appointed enough to make basic meals. There is a little pantry that is available for use. Just like previous guests we used some things and left some items behind for others. This was a "working vacation" for us. The wifi was strong enough for my husband and I to both be online and in meetings at the same time while simultaneously streaming YouTube. That was the one concern I had and it was not a problem at all. You can book this VRBO with confidence. We would absolutely stay here again.
