The house is perfect for two people and has everything you need. Located toward the center of the island makes it easy to ride bikes in any direction. I just loved the peace and quiet and watching the sunset, hearing the birds, the deer, the peekaboo view of the water. Mind you, I say quiet but you will hear boats and small planes overhead, as you probably would anywhere on the islands. And for being so close to the little Lopez Island airport, surprisingly few planes. Was easy peasy getting into the village. Kitchen very well stocked and nice modern appliances. ##### Eric S. It was a great size for the two of us with all the amenities of home. It also has a hot tub for soaking after a day of biking and paddle boating. The location was perfect for us, a short drive into town but secluded for peaceful evenings. Martin the owner and Bob the property manager were both very responsive and helpful. The setting was private and gorgeous, there is a hot tub in which you can look up and see the stars with no light pollution in the backyard. It is spacious and has advanced amenities that are unparalleled of any Vrbo or other companies and private rentals that we have stayed in and we are avid travelers! Communication with the host and the caretaker were excellent and they allowed a late check out because after our wedding we stayed up talking until five in the morning. The house is well- appointed, particularly the kitchen. Loved the shower! Lots of interesting items around the house that feature the owners interests - some of them made us smile - like the cute coasters from England. Because of other commitments, we weren't able to enjoy the hot tub or covered patio, but both were a nice addition to the property. Francisco, the assistant, was very helpful and pleasant. We enjoyed our stay - really needing the quiet to unpack the work we were dealing with during the day. Beautiful, secluded location with gorgeous forest surrounding the home (and hot tub). A family of deer visited often, we had to tear ourselves away to explore Lopez Island and the surrounding islands. Lovely finishes in the home, great kitchen and bathroom. We hope to be back again!
