Located in Fisherman Bay on a four-acre lot, within walking distance to Lopez Village and the marina, the entire group will find each day here will be filled with fun adventures. On the island, you can enjoy browsing art galleries, meals at delicious eateries, and more. With its vaulted ceilings and wood-burning fireplace, the living room offers a great place to relax during vacation downtime. Watch a movie on the flatscreen TV while lounging on either of the two sofas or three chairs. Books and games are provided as well as cable, WiFi, and a DVD player so everyone can stay happily occupied. Meals prepared in the well-stocked kitchen, complete with a dishwasher, microwave, all the major appliances, and more, can be thoroughly enjoyed by the entire family at the dining room table for six. Two more can be seated at the bar stools, or feel free to head outdoors to the gorgeous covered porch and sit at one of the patio sets while you watch the wildlife meander through the yard. This home has a maximum occupancy of eight with the three queen bedrooms and the futon in the upstairs loft. The upstairs master bedroom has a full bathroom attached with a stand-alone shower. Beach chairs are provided, as well as a washer and dryer for your convenience. Walk the half mile to Lopez Village for dinner and dessert at Bay Cafe or grab your morning coffee at Cafe La Boheme. Along with spectacular bay views, the marina offers fishing and rentals for kayaks and paddleboards so you can get a great workout while you take in the gorgeous scenery. It is a nice house for adults, but I have an 8 year old and it was great to find games, puzzles, books and movies for her to enjoy as well. The location was terrific with easy walking to the Village, and the house felt spacious and comfortable. Especially loved the view from the dining room/deck with open French doors. The resident bunnies were charming and beds were comfy. We brought sleep masks for the upstairs master bedroom which has skylights, and ended up needing to stagger showers/dishwasher due to the well water. Lopez is a rural island - which was good to keep in mind during our stay - we had a maintenance issue which was fixed the following day, and weren’t able to stream movies part of the time. The home is comfortable and has everything one would need including a fully stocked kitchen which came in very handy as we were cooking our Thanksgiving meal. The location and Fisherman’s Bay views from Sunset View house are still lovely, walkable to the village, and we enjoyed family time together here again. However, the house needs quite a bit of maintenance and upkeep. Screens torn, dishwasher not working, hot water tank very limited, moss and mold creeping through windows, bathrooms not cleaned, lots of wear and tear inside. It is on a large piece of property with views of the town and water. The town is within an easy walk and has great stores, bakeries, restaurants and coffee. Only reasons we gave a couple 4\* is the ceiling in the upstairs bedroom was a head-bumper in spots and we also found it challenging to work the door lock. It's just around the corner from town on a quiet, private property with a wonderful view. The furniture is a bit run down but very cozy. No queen beds--only full--but they were comfortable. Lots of extra towels and sheets/blankets. Cleaning could be improved a little but overall a great rental. ##### Amanda H. We cooked and the house was equipped with a plethora of kitchen appliances and cookware that made making meals convenient and easy. We felt like absolute Lopez locals staying in this clean, airy, and extremely comfortable family home. It is walking distance into the town (i.e. farmer's market, beer garden, groceries, restaurants) and just 8 minutes from the ferry terminal - was truly the perfect location for our 4 day stay on-island as first-timers. Sunsets (and sunrises) from the porch were breathtaking. We highly recommend this place as the way to experience this very special island. Cannot wait to return. ##### Sarah B.
