We were there for the annual monkey festival (last weekend in Nov) and by far the best way to get there is by baht bus on the main road (7 baht) rather than the 200 or more they want for private cab. There are no taxis like in bangkok or tuk tuks. There was no way to barricade yourself in!! The bar next door was so loud. Live music and people talking loud until 5:30 am. It was miserable. The beds were hard but not terrible. There was rodent feces on surfaces. The air conditioning worked and there was a fridge. Das Hotel ist sehr heruntergekommen. Das Zimmer war nicht sauber. Vor allem das Bad war in einem sehr schlechten Zustand. Wir haben dort nicht übernachtet, sondern haben uns ein anderes Hotel (Lopburi Palm Resort) gesucht.
