With the majority of units located on the beach side of the exclusive Longboat Key island, including several overlooking the turquoise waters of the Gulf of Mexico, and a handful of others intimately nestled on the bayside, this condominium complex encompasses all the elements of a tropical paradise. The quiet ambiance and relaxed atmosphere of this vacation hideaway, coupled with the natural foliage and perfect location have created a must-see community on Longboat Key.     Accommodations: Cabana Beach Club is a relaxing retreat located directly on the Gulf of Mexico on the northern-end of Longboat Key with several units also located on the bay side. Choose from our various unit styles including one-, two-bedroom and efficiency units. Our favorite place for a staycation

This is our 2nd time staying at the Cabana. First time was the week of our wedding in '22. We love LBK and the Sarasota area. Peaceful and relaxing! Just a short walk to the beach and so many amazing restaurants to choose from.

Fabulous Location

This is an awesome location. Steps from the beach. Pros - location, nicely furnished, rental company was friendly at check-in. Cons - kitchen was not well equipped, pots and pans need replacement, not the cleanest apartment.

Amazing location

Everything was amazing, the location, the kitchen, the views, the apartment in front of the the ocean and pool.. what they should improve was that the shower gave very little water, that I had to wash my hair in the shower of the pool that was in front of my apartment and at night I had to put the fan in the room because it was very hot and They should improve too the cleaning of the sheets, otherwise everything was super great, I would return with pleasure.

The only negative is that the bed sticks out about 6 inches further than it looks so I whacked my knee about 20 times!

Bathroom needs major updating, little or no counterspace for essentials. Resented having to listen to the connecting room's TV and conversations. Didn't know when booking that there was only a door between our unit and theirs. Would love to stay at Cabana Beach again, but probably not this particular unit.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This unit provided excellent views of the beach and ocean. We could see the beach from the screened porch. There were many problems within this unit ~ including the bathtub stopper would not work and therefore, we could not take a bath. The icemaker would not work. We were left with a small eight cube tray. The window dividers were caked with mildew and green residue and the windows were not clean. Many of the windows would not open/close. Upholstered furniture was visibly worn. The rod in the bathroom was broken and masking tape was used. The bathroom vanity is broken at the base.

Great location and while it's an older property, that is part of the charm. #5 was cute and tidy but not quite as well equipped, nor as well maintained, as the other units .No major problems though and I'm fairly certain anything major would have been quickly resolved if we'd needed as management was very accommodating and responsive.
