We had a nice stay at Arlo. Positives - Comfy beds and a convenient location. The room itself was nice as well - large room, with big windows, and a cool brick ceiling. I liked the long bench on one side of the room as it would allow a few people nice seating. One of the service people fixed a broken sconce light the day I reported it. Negatives - the shower door didn't close completely, so it wasn't completely water tight. On check-in, they didn't mention anything about 2 free cans of water a day. Did the hotel do anything above and beyond? No. When I asked if they could do something special for my daughter's birthday, they sent over a menu of products they offer. I said she'd be happy with a few extra fortune cookies. The person at the front desk and the person I texted said this wouldn't be an issue. Ultimately, no birthday surprise. The night before checking out, I asked if I could have late checkout. The service desk said to check in the morning of. I asked again the morning of and no response for 50 minutes. We wound up packing in a rush to get out of the hotel. I guess it's partly our fault, but most places will give you at least some leeway from their posted check-out (or at least respond and tell you it's not possible due to some reason). Finally, the Expedia listing says 20% off dining, but the front desk said it was 15% off. It also mentions room upgrades and late checkout if available, but I wouldn't expect that based off my experience.

The room was good and clean. The bedding was comfortable. The bed was very comfortable, just the way I like it. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Every interaction with the staff felt sincere, and the service consistently exceeded my expectations. Overall, my stay at the Rosewood was exceptional. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, luxury, and top‑tier hospitality. I’m already looking forward to returning!

I’ve never stayed at a 5 star hotel that charged you for shampoo, soap, or body wash. Considering the price of the hotel I would never expect to see a notice saying we would be charged for taking shampoo. It gives the impression that the hotel is nickel and diming guests. In addition, the idea of reusing stuff from other guests is also gross. The hotel also didn’t provide toothbrushes, combs, or basic toiletries that other 5 star hotels provide. Lastly to add onto the nickle and diming, never in my life have a stayed at a 5 star hotel that charges for sauna and steam room use. Either include that service in the base price or put a notice saying that a charge is required.
