"Stayed for one night. Had a warm welcome on arrival and shown to are room without delay. The room was very pleasant clean and comfortable. Had an evening meal and cooked breakfast. Cooked beautifully all the staff were clean and tidy pleasant and very helpful. We didn’t use the bar but I could see that was a comfortable area. Will be returning to this hotel👍"

"Really enjoyed our stay in this lovely cottage and it is dog friendly so we could take our two labradors. What really makes this place special and why we chose it, is the location and stunning views of the river. There are good walks from the doorstep and it is easy to walk into Truro and explore the city. The seating areas to the front and back give outstanding views of the ever changing river as the tide comes in and out. Parking was a bit of a challenge and we could not always find a space near to the cottage, albeit one would always open up within an hour or so. The cottage has good facilities with a well equipped kitchen and comfortable bed. A welcome basket of cornish goods was a nice touch when we arrived."

"We had a superb time at The Smithy. We really felt at home for the time we were there, cooking in the kitchen and playing games in the garden. Having an enclosed space was great for our dog, but there were spaces where I feel like my dog could have jumped over, which made me feel like I couldn’t leave him completely on his own when he was outside. Having the separate living space was super - a lovely treat and escape for the kids and an opportunity for them to have their independence. Given me some great ideas! Haha. Thank you again for being so warm and welcoming, it’s greatly appreciated."
