"We had a nice one-night stay here and the family room we had was very well appointed and clean with quality fittings. The decor was good but could have been a bit more warm and inviting. The staff were lovely and very helpful and the breakfast was great - the food was well presented and fresh. There wasn't a bar as such but the reception staff were available to provide alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks in the small lounge area. Again, I think the public areas could have had better lighting and more cosy decor to provide a more welcoming ambience but overall a great place to stay in the lovely town of Pitlochry."

"Somewhat dated, ancient noisy lift, shower over bath was a tap attachment. Bathrooms were definitely overdue a refurbishment. Staff were very good and everything very clean, but a refresh wouldn't go amiss..."

"We initially received an accessible room, but unfortunately the toilet flush was not working because the handle was broken. The duty manager was very helpful and offered us an alternative room in the building next to the hotel, which turned out to be lovely and very comfortable. Overall, we had a positive experience. The hotel is pleasant and clean, and the staff are friendly, courteous, and helpful. The only area that may need some additional attention is general maintenance."
