A really well positioned hotel for Alderley Edge and surrounding area. The staff were very helpful and the breakfast options and quality of food was very good.
The only thing that let our stay down and the reason for 3 stars was the rooms. They were very tired and could have been better maintained - scuffs on walls, dripping tap, toilet that didn’t flush properly and untidy sealant in bathroom.
We also asked the cleaner to re-clean the room as there was dust and a cobweb which was done without fuss or delay.
If they would just spruce up the rooms this would be a great hotel and worthy of 4 or 5 stars.

"Very nice staff, quaint little hotel, very old pub. Rooms are modern. Because it’s so old the floors are slanted. Might be a problem if you have had a few drinks!
