Livermore Vacation Packages

We were on the second floor and there was no elevator. We had to carry everything up several flights of stairs. I asked to switch to the bottom floor and explained why we wanted the change, but it didn’t make a difference.

Abby and all the staff were all so helpful and welcoming! The Newagen Seaside Inn is so picturesque! We only spent one night there but wished we could have spent a week. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and the Tuesday evening lobster dinner was a great experience! Wished we lived closer! It was hands down the best place we stayed during our trip to New England!

Our room was huge with a full kitchen!!

We did not have a wonderful experience here. The room was not very clean, including a large sticky spot on the carpet, broken furnishings, cobwebs, and hair in the bathroom when we arrived. It was overall a very dated and not well-maintained room.The Northern Lights Cafe was the only on-site dining available and was very disappointing- we only made that mistake once. We also had to ask multiple times to try to get hot water to our room, which was never fully resolved. Over the course of four days, we never had a complete day with hot water. There are some nice aspects of the hotel, including nightly make-your-own-smores, some fun family games set up in common areas, a nice-looking reception area, and a heated pool. We really enjoyed the area surrounding the hotel for hiking and being outdoors. The people were mostly friendly and tried to be helpful, especially Emmit from maintenance. I wish we could say we loved it, but in the words of my teenager- we just had to stick it out and get through it.

We hadn’t visited Grand Summit for a while, but upon our return improvements to the facility made our visit very enjoyable. In particular, the upgrade to the pool area with resurfacing and the addition of a new hot tub was a major improvement. Staff were very helpful. Breakfast in Camp was outstanding!!
