Alex is very responsive and when we had an issue (back door lock was stuck) he fixed it within a few hours. House has basically anything you could need and the beds are comfy. The only negative is it’s quite buggy (flies, mosquitos, earwigs) but absolutely worth it for the ocean view from every window in the house and stunning sunsets. Alex has done great work to this home and we barely noticed the winds or rain inside. Luckily we did have two great days of no rain and explored the beach next to the house (great for sea glass hunting) and the adorable East Point Lighthouse near by. Nancy and Carl at the lighthouse are the best! Highly recommend the red eye crab for seafood (it is about 25 mins away but worth it!) Most stores and restaurants are a bit of a drive from the house but it’s worth it for the seclusion. If you want to get away and disconnect for a bit, this is the perfect place! The rustic house has lovely views, pretty sunrises and sunsets up the street-and the area is especially fun to explore at low tide. Lots of eagles and ospreys, horseshoe crabs and sea glass to find to keep everyone entertained. Don’t miss touring the East Point lighthouse up the road if you are up in the weekend.
