It’s a great home base to explore the city on food but it’s also easy to catch a ride share or public transit to go further afield. Demzufolge ist fussläufig alles zu erreichen. Restaurants, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Straßenbahn alles da. Der Check in verlief reibungslos in der vorgegeben Zeitspanne zwischen 15:00-15:30 Uhr. Der Mitarbeiter erklärter uns kurz die Wohnung. Küche , Räumlichkeit Wohnbereich und die Schlafzimmer waren gut aufgeteilt. Nachts empfanden wir es etwas kalt mit der dünnen Decke, so dass wir den Radiator anmachen mussten. Sicherlich hätte es auch eine Wolldecke getan. Wie in anderen Ferienwohnungen, fehlte es im Bad an genügend ablageflächen und Handtuchhaltern. Der Auscheck sollte bis 11:00 Uhr erfolgen und verlief ohne Mitarbeiterkontakt. Ein Punkt hat uns absolut nicht gefallen, hier muss reagiert werden. Die Eingangstür unten musste mit einem Schlüssel geöffnet werden, der nicht wirklich passgenau war. Manchmal versuchten wir es 5 Minuten, bis die Tür endlich aufging. Ein anderes mal, verzweifelten wir bis uns ein Nachbar mit seinen Haustürschlüssel zu Hilfe kam. ##### Emma P. My family of 5 was comfortable there, and it was very easy to walk around the city. However, the pictures in the VRBO listing show the apartment in much better condition than it is today. Paint is peeling, boards in the master bathroom are coming loose, and there are stains on the walls. Gem Apartments: It is time to invest a modest amount of $ to refresh this apartment and bring it up to the standards that your guests deserve. The location is perfect..it’s so central and convenient to everything. The house is in good condition and very charming. It’s a bustling neighborhood and the noise does filter up to the apartment, but if that bothers you, the windows are crazy soundproof and you hear nothing when they are closed. The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the beds are pretty uncomfortable. You can feel the springs and they are really hard. We were able to walk to almost all of the attractions. Restaurants and shopping were just around the corner. Also a short walk from the metro. Bruno was very friendly and welcoming. He met us at the door and arranged a tour for us. There were many stairs and the showers were small but the location and a well stocked apartment made up for that. ##### Sandra Y.
