I did not park or had breakfast, but the valet staff was very friendly.

No hot water. The hotel seemed understaffed. They were not available.

I only stayed at this hotel for one night, the staff was friendly and the location was great in downtown Philly. I did valet parking for my car but there are two parking lots very close by. The rooms are small, but we managed ok.

Charming, retro, artsy hotel that has complimentary breakfast, offers wine and small bites early evening that are amazing. Not to mention the complimentary chicken soup around mid day. The efforts to provide exceptional customer service is to be admired. The staff are pleasant, accommodating and even make your bed in the morning! Truly a hidden gem tucked behind the big hotels and much better at making you feel welcomed and “ at home”. Kudos Alexander Inn- we will be back.

Staff were very openly rude about guests when they didn’t think people were listening. Language used was often inappropriate, Another staff member today (the 29th)s morning shuttle driver nearly let a door slam on a guest I had to catch it for her, she was elderly. Many of the employees seemed angry to have to do their jobs. Miss Rose was a stand out however. Got me a fork when my DoorDash didn’t have one. The room itself was clean and well maintained, no signs point to vending being on the second floor. Breakfast was above average for this type of hotel.
