This house was great for 2 families coming to Lincoln for a Huskers football game. Very spacious. Kitchen had all necessary utensils. We could have used more towels and wash clothes. We were sitting outside on Friday night and I’m pretty sure the neighbors had an alarm set for 10PM so they could send a complaint to the home owner bc we were not being loud, no music, just chatting. Not that I blame the neighbors, I wouldn’t want a rental next door to my house either….but we were as respectful as can be and they still complained.

Great location for our function. Quiet beautiful neighborhood and nice morning walks. First impression when we arrived was, why is there a dusty Christmas with several ornaments and others strewn across fireplace mantel up in July. Looked tacky. The temperature in the home was 79 degrees. Took a long time to cool down to a comfortable temp and it would have been nice if you would have regulated prior to arrival. Carpets were filthy large stains and very rippled and worn. Afraid to walk without shoes and looked unsanitary. Kitchen functional but dirty and drawers awful with filth and clutter. No hand towels in powder bathroom. Main bedroom bathroom was dirty. Mold all over in shower. Floors in kitchen dirty. Other bathroom smelled musty. Door going out to garage full of dirty fingerprints. We payed a lot of money and this place was not worth the price. Description needs to show this to future renters. Could be a nice place with some elbow grease and new carpet. Don’t expect new when we rent but do expect it to be clean!

Keep up with the current season June is a little late for Christmas ornaments.The window in the southwest bedroom,queen size, was left wide open, with the temp above 90 that room was extremely hot, and could have allowed uninvited access by the homeless people that are normally at Jamie lane Walmart.

This place was as described. It was a great, quiet place to kick off a new year. There were only two of us but definitely could have more people and have your own space. Communication was good. Lots of things to do when going out or just stay in for peace and quiet. Would recommend and stay there again.

BIG HOUSE BUT DIRTY

Trash left on the floors. Used pop and beer cans left under the couches and in the cupboards. Drawers in the bathrooms still had hair and stuff leftover from previous guests. The mold in the master shower and inside the washing machine. Mold around the sinks. Mold around the downstairs shower. The dishes had to be washed prior to use because of food still on them. The towels had to be washed all over again because I got a rash from using them. They were crunchy and had an odor very apparent from not being washed. The cleaning towels still had dirt and an odor to them and I’m wondering if they were even washed between using them to clean after each guest. The carpet is so stained and disgusting. The dumpsters in the garage were almost overflowing from not being emptied and the smell of rotting garbage is intense. Overall, very disappointing for the amount of money we spent to stay there There wasn’t even a scrub brush to wash dishes, just a nasty sponge. The hostess did credit back 100 for the inconvenience.
