The covered deck with a sitting area and a table for dining was a huge plus. We spent most of our time there or down on the dock. We had a wonderful time. Very clean and well stocked in a quiet neighborhood. Enjoyed fishing, grilling and time with the family on the large covered deck. Lots of stairs going to the water and the stairs going up to 2 bedrooms were very steep, but not an issue for us. We came down to celebrate my Mom's 85th birthday and this was perfect for our "home base!" Plenty of space for me, my brother and sis and law, and my niece. We were even able to have local family over for dinner. Very clean, everything we needed, and lots of plants to hang out and relax. Our only complaint would be the Nest thermostat; since it's run remotely it didn't always match our needs. Got warm on the downstairs bedroom at night. Overall though, we'd definitely stay again! The house was just as pictured and comfortably fit our combined families (7 people total). The neighborhood was very peaceful. We only stayed for a few days, but the house had everything we needed to feel right at home - full kitchen utensils and appliances, laundry, grill, and 3 bathrooms! The back deck was wonderful with so much seating and nice views of the lake yet plenty of privacy. We spent a lot of our time there! The dock was a long way down but the stairs had enough landings to make it easy enough going back up. It was also great sitting down there. The property owner responded quickly to the question we had and she was super helpful when we accidentally left a few things behind.
