"Great property and super friendly. Best to get the phone number and make contact for / before arrival. The owner was very helpful when we called on arrival, but it was a little tricky. "This was quite a find - with such an interesting name, I just had to book a night there. It really is a jewel, it seems very new. We arrived early and had a splendid greeting. In view of our disability and difficulty walking, we were changed to a ground floor room which was spacious and seriously cool in the current heatwave. It feels like a farm with all the lovely hens and chicks around. Breakfast was ample and tasty. "

"This is a small town in Italy away from everything. 4 hours and 2 trains from Rome. This bed and breakfast (coffee and croissant in the Centrale Bar in the piazza below) may be one of only a few places here to stay. They have no fast food chains in this town of about 12,000 but it is a slice of Italy that hasn't changed much in the last 50 years. The accommodations were very good but there is no staff onsite.
